I'm back, and things are improving a little. I stayed at work yesterday after the headache hit (bad idea), but I had enough sense to stay home today. Some of the clouds are still disappearing, but now that it's filling in at the bottom, the empty sky doesn't bother me as much. At the last minute I decided to swap out the water with some hand dyed floss (Dinky Dyes), and I think that made a big difference. The Big Issue with this section of the pattern is I only just realized I made a counting error way up at the top and made my entire sampler two stitches too thin! I think I can fix it without ripping any stitches, but it will take some very careful counting next month!
Great progress, I love the effect of hand dyed on the water! I hope you can make things work despite the being two stitches to thin, should be possible as long as you don't forget about it :)
Looking good!
