Paradise Progress

Hello again everyone :)

Thanksgiving was fun but now it's time for progress on Paradise!

Last time I was here:

Now I'm here:

I finished that page and finished another 2 1/2 pages (almost 3).  And we finally have the sun!  I'm aiming to get to the halfway mark before the end of the year.  Actually past that as the next page goes about 15 lines past the middle.  Which is basically another 3-3 1/2 pages.  Wish me luck!

Sarah's Nov update

I didn't get as much done as I had hoped. Still spending all my time at the hospital. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

Nov 30 (sorry its sideways. I couldn't get it turned.)

Unspoken

I didn't get a lot done on my project this month, I am furiously finishing up Christmas gifts XD

Mostly some white, and mostly invisible.

Linda's Nov. Cinderella's Castle

I did it again.  I managed to stitch an hour a day on the castle.  I am so excited.  I did 3,982 stitches.

Leonore's November Non-Progress

Again, I'm sticking to my plan of not putting a single stitch into Dark Force this month (I know, weird! But it's ap lan as well!). Instead, I finally finished a long overdue birthday present, and right now I'm working on four christmas gifts (one knitting, three stitching), strugling to get them all done in time - here's hoping, I have not given up yet!

See you all in December!

A Little More Progress

A little more progress this month. I am getting closer to finishing another page and I can't wait!  I really hope to get more done in between Christmas shopping and other festivities - I really do.

Here's to more getting done and Happy Stitching!!

Susan's November Progress

3,211.  That's how many stitches I put into Shakespearean Fantasy this month. I far surpassed the 400 stitches for the challenge on the HAED facebook page and finished a page. I found a rhythm, closer to a meditative state, while doing stitch after stitch of black and really started to enjoy it.  I have decided to continue doing a column at a time and just let the colors come as they may.

Here's where I was last month:

and here's where it is today:

It looks like a lot in this picture, but I know when I take it off the scroll rods it will look like a speck so I have decided to keep it on the scroll rods and only have a couple of rows of pages showing.

My plan for the next month is to keep working along on page 2 and maybe be close to a page finish by the next check in.

November Update on my big project

I looked at calendar and duh--it is the 28th already!  We enjoyed out family Thanksgiving yesterday (Friday).  We had icy roads but the state road crews kept at it and they were OK (as long as you took your time).  Thankful that we have those crews to take care of the highways and that the kids made it here and back to their homes without incident.

I managed to finish a page  and 1/2 of another on my pattern this month.  Think I will spend today sewing in between a few chores.  One benefit of having a family gathering is you get everything done and you can relax a few days after it is all over! And we have plenty of food for a few days.

Hope you all had a great holiday!  Our family will have another addition on the 4th. Another grandson is making an appearance. I will have my hands full as I will be taking care of his 1 1/2 year old brother for a few days. I am including a picture of our kids and the grands too.

Keep stitching!

Halloween Cuties!

Since we live in a rural area (altho we live on a highway) we don't get any trick or treaters except for family.  Our grand daughters were off to Platte City, MO to stay with the other grandparents and help hand out candy there. I have a picture of the youngest grand daughter during the elementary parade town main street (Jojo was home sick.).  So I pulled a picture off face book that their grandmother had posted.  The little tricksters we had were all great nephews of mine that live in the area.  They get a lot of candy just from the great Aunts that they don't have to go to town to walk the streets.  LOL

 GD Rebekah--3rd grade
Their cousin Kaleb, Victoria-13 , Jojo --11, and Rebekah
 Great nephew Ryan age 1
 Great Nephews Jackson-7 and Jacob-2
 Great Nephew Elias--almost 2 years
Elias's big brothers August 5 and Ashton 7
 Grandson Kale-1 and Mom
And our world traveler Adam-3.  They didn't dress him up as still suffering from jet lag that night!

Here is the finished framed project that I worked on in September.

Happy Stitching!

October Paradise

It's about 11:30 here so I've made it just in time.  I was trying to finish the page but didn't quite make it.  I still have another 5 colors or so.  Without further ado here's my progress this month:
See you next month!  Oh and here's my theme pic:
