June - Not Much Progress

So, Serenity Harbor looks quite similar to the last time I posted. I think I have maybe five more stitches done.
I'm about a month and a half behind now. I still need to fill in the rest of the water in that section, and there's an entire section beneath it I haven't even started.

I wasn't able to get very far this month because of another project. My brother's dog passed away in an accident a few weeks ago, so I was focused on stitching this for him.

June Post I'm Halfway Through the Top!

Yay!  I just finished putting in the last few stitches on this page and I'm officially past the halfway mark on the top row.  The whole piece is 14 pages across and 3 down so I feel like I've made progress.  A lot more this month than last.  But I actually did 3/4 of the page in 2 days.  Unfortunately now I have to focus on school again.

Here's where I was last post:
And the whole:

And here's where I am now:

And the piece as a whole:
Sorry I just noticed that pic is a bit blurry.  But I feel like I made great progress this month.  About a page and a half done.  I'm still far from my goal but that's okay.  I'm aiming for a Christmas finish now.

See you all next time!

Cinderella's Castle by Linda

I'm so happy with my progress on this.  I did about 750 stitches in 4 days.  It's still so much fun to work on.

Cinderella's Castle by Kate

I really need to try stitching on this throughout the month instead of cramming my stitching in the last four days before the deadline!

Where I was at the end of May:

Where I am now at the end of June:
About 600 stitches filled in.

We're not taking any holidays this year, so all my stitching will be done in my favorite spot on the couch in the living room.

Thanks for reading and looking.
Happy Stitching!

Sarah's June update

I didn't get any new stitching done on Letting Go in June. The month just flew by in a flash! I was working on a few other projects so it wasn't a totally craftless month.

I have a four day weekend coming up for the 4th of July and all we have planned is to hang out at home. I am planning on getting some stitching done then.

Still the same.....

June Update Eye of the Sparrow

I am still not devoting as much time as I would like to my bap but I did get some stitching done.  Hoping I can get a couple good hours of stitching in July done on it. Now I am preparing projects for our county fair that starts the first week in August.  Once that is done I will be back at it! (Fingers crossed!) Keep stitching!  Dede

Leonore's June Update

So half the year is over, and so far I managed to stick to my goals - one column each week. In fact, if I can keep this up, July should see both a page finish (two more columns) and a row finish (two more after that). Maybe once I've reached the right edge, I'll slow down a bit and focus on other things, since finishing one row was kind of my goal for the year, but we will see when I get there :)

As to this month's theme, we haven't planned a real vacation yet - maybe later in the year. This summer, we'll visit my boyfriend's parents in northern Bavaria, and have a few days of staycation. I'll also be going to a big gaming convention ^_^ So for now, my favourite stitching spot continues to be my spot on the sofa :D

'Unspoken' Update

I got more done than usual; I had a column and a half done, now I have four columns so I have finished the first half page.

This whole time I've been stitching what seems like nothing but now I can actually kind of see the sunlight filtering through the mist, there.  Cool :D  Still looking forward to the next page when actual objects start to appear.

My favorite stitchy spot is, when the weather is just right, outside on my front porch, so I can watch the birds at the feeders.

Looking forward to seeing all the progress shots!!!

June's Progress

Well, I haven't done a whole lot on the Wizard this month but I am planning to do more in July. I had to get a Fathers Day piece done for my Dad and it turned out great.

Happy stitching!

June Theme

We have already taken our "holiday".  We went to Italy to visit our middle son and family for 2 weeks.  He is there on a job assignment with 4 other fellows.  So we took advantage of them being there to visit.   Italy was interesting and lots to see but since we were mainly in big cities it was way to crowded for this rural Kansas gal.  They are living in a suburb of Milan.  Never did get into Milan to tour.   We went to the Vatican and saw some beautiful tapestries as well as all the other art and sites in Rome.  Explored Venice, Florence, Pisa, a castle (somewhere), an old village, and a little of Switzerland.   I did take a Shepard's Bush Fold piece and managed to stitch while sitting in airports and then a little in the evenings when at their apartment. I so wanted to find a cross stitch/needlework shop but we were never near any (that I know of!)..  Closest I got was a button and lace shop!

This is the finished piece.

I have finished stitching 2 wedding pieces for June so now it is back the EotS!

Keep stitching!
