My new start for next year will be Chinese Garden Mandala by Chatelaine. I've had the kit for a while now, almost since the time the design first came out, and I don't want it to sit and wait any longer! Here's a kind of "stock photo" of the design:
I'll be stitching it on a pale blue hand-dyed fabric that looks a bit like clouds. It's something subtle so it won't detract from the design, I hope. :)
Can't wait for January 1 now!

That's a great design. I have a mandala on my to do list. Looking forward to seeing it come together. Do you dye your own fabrics or buy them already done?

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! I just found the Alpine Garden mandala and I think it just moved to the top of my list LOL.I can see how those could become addictive. I may do several of them.
