January 2022

I worked on four projects in January. I wasn't sure which one to post here now that Magical Arrival is done, so I thought I'd share them all. Pandemic, added 4,063 stitches

Home Sweet Home, start & finish

Black cats, started in January, added 1080 stitches

Lady of the Rhine, added 8,506 stitches

Exciting update

I finished Magical Arrival in October! Started in March 2018, took 3.5 years.

I am now working on Lady of the Rhine

 Well, I decided I needed to pull this out and give it some love.

Here it was at the beginning of the month:

I don't count stitches anymore. I hope to work on this at least one weekend a month in 2022. Let's see how that works!

Magical Arrival update

In May I finished the end of that row and got just over 2 pages on the next row. I think I'm on track to have this finished in March 2022. Photos on May 1 and June 1

This was a good stitchy month for me. I made lots of progress on Magical Arrival. I am now 60.7% complete. April 1

In February I worked on my dragon for 65 hours 45 minutes, adding 9869 stitches and finishing row 4. This puts me exactly 50% done!

I've been working steady on my HAED, Magical Arrival.  It's so nice to actually see the progress! I also started two new projects in January.  I hope they don't slow this one down too much lol.

Fractal White Tiger January 2021 Update

This month 984 stitches were added to Fractal White Tiger by Charting Creations. I still love working on this piece, based on artwork by Ricky Barnard.

Fractal White Tiger December 2020 Update

 

I finally made some progress on my Charting Creations Fractal White Tiger. 664 stitches were added this month.

6,458 stitches were added in 2020. The photo above shows my starting point this year.

Fractal White Tiger August 2020 Update

 It was nice to work on this Charting Creations Fractal White Tiger project again this month. 1,439 stitches were added, bringing the total to 41,662 of 147,300.

The photo below shows how it looked at the end of May, in my last update.  

I am working on pages 16 & 17. They will reveal whiskers and more of the tiger's nose.

Dark Forces - August

 Another month, another ten hours, and another % or so of progress on Dark Forces! Here they are at the end of July:

And after I filled in some blues and a lot of white on the helmet - added a total of 1,482 stitches which brought me from 22.7 to 23.8%!

Another month should bring me pretty close to a page finish, but I suspect it will be October before the page is actually done - those last couple stitches always take forever!

I can't believe I skipped May and June. At least I didn't skip the stitching part lol. My goal for this year is to finish the row and the fill in on the row above.  Looks like I'm on track for that.
