January Update - Hummers

Hello all!

I've been LOVING seeing all of your progress this month! Figured it was about time I posted my own update. I was trying for a page finish this month, but you know what they say about the best laid plans... I'm still hoping to accomplish that goal by the end of the weekend.

So, this is where Hummers has progressed to this month.

A whole 6,799 stitches. 99% of which were confetti-packed! Still looks soooooo tiny when you look at the whole thing. Which is why I normally don't. Haha!

  1. Fantastic progress Caitlin. All that floss hanging down scares the heck out of me.

    1. Thanks! It frightens me as well. I think I'll work the pages in columns instead of rows to make the floss go away. I can't imaging seeing floss from the whole top row hanging down!!!

  2. WOW! You're needle is smoking if you're this close to a page finish already.

  3. You did so well in making this almost a page finish, and it's looking so pretty - I think the confetti is really worth it on this piece :)

I have to say that your title confuses me a bit, because 'Hummer' means 'lobster' in German and when I just look at it without thinking I tend to mix up the two xD

  4. Love how this one is looking. Its going to be so pretty! I think I would go in columns too. That is so much thread I'd be worried about getting it tangled up.
