I can't believe I skipped May and June. At least I didn't skip the stitching part lol. My goal for this year is to finish the row and the fill in on the row above.  Looks like I'm on track for that.

Sarah's Magical Arrival

It's been way too long since I posted an update. Please accept my apologies.

Here's where my Magical Arrival from HAED was on the first of January:

I worked on this for 27 hours, 20 minutes. 

Adding 3,795 stitches in January.

Summer update

I think the last time you saw Magical Arrival was in May.

And here it is today. Sept. 3, 2019

I still love working on this, but I'd really like to start a few new things... just for variety.  We'll see what comes up in the next few months.

September was a busy and emotional month  for me. I felt like I didn't concentrate on stitching much. But I did make some progress.

I know I'm not going to get any stitching done tomorrow, so I'm posting my update a day early.

I finished pages 6 and 7 and got a great start on page 8. I also got that bow filled in.

Sarah's March update

I finally finished the birds!
My favorite season to stitch: winter.
My least favorite season to stitch: spring.
My favorite one to look at: fall.
Favorite little detail: the berries in the summer season.

I am now working on HAED, Magical Arrival by Anne Stokes. I finished page one and just barely got started on page two.

Sarah's February birds

February was all about backstitching.
I added a couple little leaves and finished the bird at the bottom. I wasn't happy with how light the stitches were on the wire feeder so I went over that with a darker thread. Fall is almost done, then on to Summer!

I'm a little early for the month, but I'm at a natural stopping point so I thought it would be a good time for an update.

For January my goal was to get a little done on the winter bird. I didn't think I'd get it all the way done!

I only managed to get about 100 stitches added in June. I'm not sure you can even tell.

I'm really not enjoying this project any more, but I want to see it to the end.

Look what I found

I know I haven't stitched much on this all year, but it recently found it's way back to the front. I've added just little bit to my HAED, Letting Go by Zindy Nielson.

I hope to get back in the full swing of things in 2017.

No progress again

Once again I didn't work on my HAED. The shame of posting this should be enough to get me back at the frame.

April, the month of shame

I did almost no stitching in April! All I managed to do was 1/2 a small card chart.

So Letting Go is right where I left her last month. I hope to get back on track in May.
